Account Management in Prime Brokerage

My client, a leader in the prime brokerage space for managed futures strategies and fixed income is looking for a director to manage their transition .
Collaborating with the global origination and structuring teams, you will be responsible for the day to day needs of the prime brokerage clients and ensure their needs and business expectations are met effectively.

Your responsibilities will be very diverse but will require someone with client on-boarding experience, someone who is well coordinated and knows how to handle relations with external clients in a timely manner.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking care of existing relationships and answering client queries
  • Analysis and implementation of changes to enhance the transition function
  • Coordinate the on-boarding of new accounts and manage client expectations during the on-boarding process
  • Agree operational and trading procedures between all parties involved: the clients, the trading desk and the client services desk
  • Resolve business and operational issues affecting Prime Brokerage Clients
  • Monitor client services to ensure continuous working knowledge for all PB clients ( margin call, high risk trades, changes in NLV..)

The ideal candidate will:

  • Likely have 7 to 10 years experience in a client relationship role within the financial space
  • Likely have 2 years experience in/of the equities or managed futures industries
  • Have an excellent knowledge of the prime brokerage market as well as of the alternative investment industry
  • Have some knowledge of the regulatory framework globally but in the UK specifically
  • Be highly numerate and structured, while also being an efficient communicator

You will work closely with the different department but will also manage your team within EMEA, including taking care of hiring needs and performance management initiatives. You will be working on new projects all the time, going to client meetings and working closely with the product development team.
